Why are you making this videoblog? Only purpose is to help people in the industry see both the opportunities and threats that are coming before them. If I can help one person be slightly more successful in driving our industry forward I will have accomplished my goal.
Is there a business model behind the videoblog? That is not the purpose of this whatsoever. There is nothing to sell.
The video quality is good, but not great, why? Simply, I expect to get better over time with improvements in each and every posting. However, I didn't want to delay for a year before going live, so like all good startups I came out with a MVP (Minimally Viable Product). Something all good innovators should appreciate.
Will you have sponsors in the future of the site or the videos themselves? Maybe, but I would need to keep 100% control over the content. Only time will tell.
How do you choose what topics to cover? Two ways. First, from any requests that are made from the community via a comment or email. Secondly, I choose subjects I believe will have the greatest potential for impact.
How do I inquire about you speaking to my organization? I make my living thru speaking about technology's impact on the Financial Industry, and the role innovation plays in it.
